After harvesting, the stalks are dried in the shade and then tightly sewn together by local artisans with strips of young palm leaves. This creates unique pieces without wasting resources. The entire process uses no chemicals or dyes. Furthermore, the grass is never sprayed with insecticides. The jewelry is extremely durable, does not fade, and does not stain in water.
