After the harvest, the stalks are dried in the shade and then sewn together tightly by local artisans using strips of young palm leaves. This creates unique pieces without wasting resources. The entire process uses no chemicals or dyes. Furthermore, the grass is never sprayed with insecticides. The jewelry pieces are extremely durable, do not fade, and do not bleed color in water.
